Butler Co. to provide 911 service to Hamilton

HAMILTON, OH (FOX19) - Starting Dec. 18, the city of Hamilton will no longer operate its 911 center.

Instead, the Butler County Sheriff's Office will provide the service to the city.

Residents are reminded to call 911 for an emergency if they need the Hamilton police and fire departments.

The non-emergency response number for Hamilton police and fire is 513-785-1300.

To speak to an employee in either department call 513-868-5811 for police and 513-785-7500 for fire.

Residents can use Hamilton's Online 311 Citizen Request Center to request a service, ask a question, notify city officials of potential problems and suggest areas of improvement. The 311 web site address is: http://crm.hamilton-city.org/
