A man was arrested Thursday morning after a police pursuit through Cincinnati.
According to police, the chase began on the city's West Side. It lasted about ten minutes and ended near the intersection of Montgomery Road and Woodburn Avenue in Evanston.
Officers say they were about to arrest the driver for several open warrants when he took off.
"We had a suspect that we made a
traffic stop on," explains Sergeant Troy Bastin. "He was in the car and wanted
for several felony-probation violations. He initially stopped on Harrison
Avenue. Before officers got out of their cars and approached, he left the
Michael Collins, 32, was arrested following the incident. Police believe Collins was also involved in an incident on Wednesday where he pulled a gun on someone.
