Suspect uses stolen debit card number in Norwood, Colerain Twp. - Cincinnati News, Weather, Sports from FOX19 NOW-WXIX

Man charges $2K with stolen debit card number

COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) -

Police are attempting to identify a suspect seen in surveillance footage using a stolen credit card number.

A Colerain Township resident reported her debit MasterCard was used at multiple local retailers in Colerain Township and Norwood. Police said the suspect charged $2,000 beginning on Dec. 6 and drained her account.

The victim had possession of her card, so detectives believe it may have been skimmed or copied in some way. The suspect is seen in pictures at one of the retailers in Colerain Township purchasing items with the card. Police said he also attempted to return the purchased items three days later to the same retailer.

The suspect is described as a black male, possibly in his 30's-40's with a beard. He was seen with another male driving a red sedan and a black smaller-size sedan.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (513) 352-3040.
