Mason Police chase vehicle in church theft investigation

MASON, OH (FOX19) -

Mason Police Friday morning pursued a motor vehicle into nearby Sharonville after officers saw it in the lot of Hope Church that matched the description of a suspect vehicle from thefts in the area.

The suspect fled when officers attempted to stop the vehicle. In Sharonville, Mason officers  lost site of the vehicle and ended their pursuit.

The suspect vehicle is a silver 2000 Saab station wagon with Kentucky license plate number 671KEB.  The vehicle was reported stolen out of Kentucky. 

The officer in the pursuit observed damage to the rear driver side bumper of the vehicle.

The suspect driving the vehicle is wanted for thefts from local churches. The suspect is about 5 feet 11 inches tall and around 230 pounds.

Hope Church is located in the 4900 block of Western Row Road near Mason-Montgomery Road.
