Sandy Hook mother makes moving video, says 'evil did not win'

On December 14th 2012, Emilie Parker was one of 20 children killed in the horrific shooting at Sandy Hook elementary.

Alissa Parker, Emilie's mother, has transformed her devastating loss in to something positive. She made a video that is not only beautiful tribute to Emilie's life, but also a moving reflection on the support she and her family have received since losing Emilie.  

Parker says she is overwhelmed by the well-wishers from around the country, so much that it inspired her to co-found a school safety advocacy group, help with emergency response medical care in Guatemala, and create a fund in Emilie's name, The Emilie Parker Art Connection.

Parker sums up the experience in the video by saying "Evil didn't win that day. We'll carry on that love that she had."
