UC Blue Ash provides free physicals to police service dogs

BLUE ASH, OH (FOX19) - We all expect our first responders to stay healthy but their four legged partners also need to stay on top of their game.

FOX19's Kelly Rippin reported live from the UC Blue Ash campus with details on how service dogs stay in shape.

The actual exams would cost around $1,500. Fortunately, veterinarians across Ohio donated their free time on Sunday to make sure the police department's service dogs are staying healthy.

The service dogs we're treated by dentists, dermatologists, and opthamologists. They also had lab work done along with complete physicals.
