CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Jessica Leonard, Personal Training at Mercy Health, is hosting the second annual Indoor Triathlon/Duathlon at Mercy Health - Western Hills HealthPlex from 9:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m. on Sunday to benefit Girls on the Run of Cincinnati.

Leonard set herself the goal of raising $50,000 for Girls on the Run of Cincinnati this year. She's 78% of the way there and hopes that the Indoor Triathlon/Duathlon to benefit Girls on the Run will take her over the top and help her meet her goal.

For a $35 donation to Girls on the Run, participants in the Triathlon will swim 10 minutes, bike 20 minutes on the spin bike and run or walk 15 minutes on the treadmill. For a $30 donation, Duathlon participants will run or walk 15 minutes on the treadmill and cycle for 20 minutes on the spin bike.

Leonard and her team will convert the total distance that participants cover into points. Each participant will go home with a goodie bag of treats and Polar Watch Company will award gifts to the overall winners in their division.

"I am raising money for Girls on the Run of Cincinnati because every young girl deserves to learn healthy living and self-respect. The success and confidence they feel after completing their first 5K is irreplaceable," says Leonard.

While Sunday's event is fully booked, you can find out how to donate toward Leonard's cause or get more information about other Girls on the Run fundraising events by emailing Leonard at
