Meijer gift cards bought with fake money

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

Cincinnati Police Department, District Two is investigating a felony theft that occurred at the Meijer in Oakley.

Police say that on November 20th around 3:15, a 30-something man with long dread locks purchased four Meijer gift cards totaling $2, 019.80.  

The purchase was made with counterfeit money.
