CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

Boys Hope Girls Hope organization of Cincinnati is teaming up with Chief of Police Jeffrey Blackwell to unveil a new citywide initiative to keep kids off the streets.

It's called Hoops for Hope, and it is intended to keep youth in under served neighborhoods off the streets at night and in to gyms for competition, camaraderie and motivation. 

The new initiative will be introduced at a special celebration at The Great American Tower. Scholars, alumni and community partners of Boys Hope Girls Hope will be recognized at the celebration. 

Boys Hope Girls Hope Cincinnati provides education opportunities and stability to motivated youth through community programs.
