Couple arrested for Brown Co. burglaries, attempted break-in

BROWN COUNTY, OH (FOX19) -

Two individuals have been arrested following two reported burglaries and an attempted break-in in Brown County.

The Brown County Sheriff's Office received reports of two burglaries on November 27. A vehicle was stolen during one of the reported burglaries.

Following an investigation, authorities say they were able to identify the suspects as Heather Rains and Nathan Blevins. Police say that the couple committed two burglaries, stole a vehicle and attempted to break into a home in Mount Orab.

Rains has been charged with two counts of burglary, one count of auto theft, one count of breaking-and-entering and two counts of theft through the Brown County Sheriff's Office. 

Blevins is charged with two counts of burglary, two counts of theft, complicity to breaking-and-entering, complicity to auto theft and two counts of theft.

Rains and Blevins are currently being held in the Brown County Detention Center.
