WALNUT HILLS, OH ( FOX19) - It is the week of Kwanzaa and celebrations are happening in the Tri-State.
The "Cincinnati Citywide Kwanzaa Celebration" was held Thursday evening at the Asili Museum and Institute in Walnut Hills.
The event included entertainment by local artists cultural enrichment activities, inspirational speakers, food, and an African Market Place Holiday Bazaar.
The is the 48th annual Citywide Kwanzaa celebration.
Kwanzaa, a celebration of family, community and culture, centered on the seven basic principles as building blocks for peace and progress within the African-American communities, is happening for the next week.
