Mayor John Cranley is showing his Who-Dey pride, making a friendly wager with the mayor of San Diego.
Cranley joined Coach Marvin Lewis on Monday during the coaches weekly press conference at Paul Brown Stadium.
At the press conference, Cranley urged fans to sell out Paul Brown Stadium and help make "Cincinnati shine." The Bengals say that 8,000 tickets are still available. The NFL has given the Bengals until today at 1 p.m. to sell out the game before it will be ruled a blackout.
Cranley also announced a little wager with San Diego mayor Todd Gloria.
If the Bengals beat the Chargers on Sunday, Gloria will wear a Bengals jersey to his weekly press conferences. He will also send San Diego brewed craft beers to Cincinnati.
If the Chargers win, Cranley will send a Cincinnati-style care package to San Diego. The care package will include Cincinnati delicacies such as Montgomery Inn ribs, Graeter's Ice Cream and Gold Star Chili.
The Bengals will host the Chargers Sunday at Paul Brown Stadium in the AFC Wild Card round. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:05 p.m.
