(FOX19) - Less than two weeks after a major credit card breach, Target has a new issue.
Thousands of gift cards sold over the holidays were never activated. This issue left almost 40,000 customers with gift cards that didn't work.
Target says customers can go to a store service desk or call the number on the back of the card for help.
Target is still reeling from the credit card breach which compromised information on over 40 million customers.
In reaction to the breach, Chase Bank even issued a spending limit of $300.00 for Target purchases made with a debit card.
This recent breach marks the second-largest credit card breach in U.S. history.
