$1 million bond set for suspect in fatal S. Cumminsville shooting

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Police arrested a suspect Thursday in connection with a fatal shooting last month in South Cumminsville.

It happened Dec. 21 around 11:30 a.m. in the 3400 block of Beekman Street. Police said 39-year-old William A. King II was shot in the chest.

He was transferred to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.

Police said the suspect had a small female child with him at the time of the shooting. They were both last seen leaving the area on foot.

On Friday, Jonnell M. Brown, 37, was arraigned and charged with murder. His bond is set at $1 million.
