HYDE PARK, OH (FOX19) - Multiple tenants have been displaced following an apartment fire in Hyde Park.
Fire crews received reports of the fire around 5:30 p.m. on Friday in the 3600 block of Tarpis Avenue. Dispatch initially received reports of the fire from a neighbor.
Crews arriving on the scene say heavy smoke was coming from the first floor of the three-story, 12-unit building. Firefighters say they were able to control the blaze within 20 minutes.
No tenants were home at the time of the fire. No one was injured in the blaze.
Damage has been estimated at $20 thousand. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
