UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, OH (FOX19) - The Kettering Lab Complex at the University of Cincinnati's medical campus that has been closed because of flooding and a power outage will re-open Friday morning.
The complex was closed Wednesday because of water leaking onto high voltage gear. Officials were on the scene Thursday evaluating the condition of the electrical and ventilation systems.
UC said the main power to the complex's mid wing and north wing will be without power at least through the night while officials dry out electrical gear.
The university is running temporary power to a server room to get it back on line.
Access to the mid-wing will be restricted while UC continues to do restoration in that area.
UC Emergency Management (@UCEmergency) tweeted on Thursday that the lab will re-open at 7 a.m. The mid-wing will still be closed for cleanup work.
