3 arrested following armed robbery, police pursuit

FLORENCE, KY (FOX19) -

Three suspects have been arrested following an armed robbery in Florence and leading police on chase on I-75.

Officers responded to Springleaf Financial Services, located in the 7800 block of Connector Drive, after receiving reports of an armed robbery. The incident happened around 2:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Police say that two suspect wearing dark colored hooded sweatshirts entered the business armed with handguns. The suspects demanded money from an employee and fled the scene on foot with an undetermined amount of cash.

Authorities say a witness observed the suspects get into a blue colored Monte Carlo with an Ohio license plate of FWS-6867.

After attempting to locate the vehicle, Kentucky State Police say they found the vehicle traveling on southbound I-75. Police gave pursuit.

Officers say that the pursuit ended on northbound I-75 at the 156 mile marker.

Three males were taken into custody.

Police charged the individuals with crimes resulting from the pursuit. Upon follow up investigation, Florence Police detectives say they are obtaining arrest warrants for Robbery.

Authorities arrested 24-year-old Paris Mason, 25-year-old Jeffrey Mason and 26-year-old Steve Turley.

The suspects are currently being held in the Grant County Detention Center.

    Monday's meeting was condemned in advance by an assortment of members of Congress from both parties after the U.S. indictment last week of 12 Russian military intelligence officers accused of hacking Democrats in the 2016 election to help Trump's presidential campaign.
