LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

7-year-old Priscilla Maldonado is at UMC, fighting for her life after an accident that killed three members of her family on Friday night.

Her mother, Erica Ysasaga, her father, Jesse Maldonado and her 3-year-old baby sister, Jocelyn Maldonado were all killed. Priscilla was ejected from the vehicle and rushed to University Medical Center with serious injuries.

But this isn't the first time this family has been in the news.

In June 2006, Priscilla Maldonado was abducted when she was just four days old.

Priscilla's mother, Erica, told police that a nurse at University Medical Center took her child from their home.

"She (the kidnapper) said she was going to take the baby and show it to her family and I was following her and she turned real quick and I was trying to grab my other son, and I looked and she took off with my baby," Erica told a police dispatcher in 2006.

After a 48-hour investigation, police found baby Priscilla safe in the parking lot of Savoy Condominiums.

Stephanie Lynn Anderson Jones claimed to have been a nurse at UMC. She was arraigned on kidnapping and child endangerment charges.

"My heart wanted to jump out of my heart - outta my chest because I couldn't believe it. I was going to see my baby again," said Erica in 2006.

"Glad nothing is wrong with her and they didn't do nothing to her," Priscilla's father Jesse said in 2006.

But the family's tragic history doesn't end there. USA Today reports that less than a year before the abduction Ysasaga's and Maldonado's 2-month-old daughter, Faith Maldonado, choked to death.

The family has started making funeral arrangements, and a fund has been established. If you would like to help, you can go to any Plains Capital Bank location in Lubbock to donate. Ask for the Maldonado/Ysasaga family memorial fund.
