Local woman wins Safe Auto commercial contest

(FOX19) -

Simon Kenton High School graduate Angie Gillespie won the Safe Auto Jingle Competition!

The contestant was supposed to re-create, re-interpret or re-invent the famous SafeAuto Jingle. All video submissions were featured on the Safe Auto website.

Gillespie's video of her playing the guitar and singing a Safe Auto Jingle placed her in the top round this past month.

Thousands of contestants were hoping to reach the top spot but Gillespie received the most votes.

Gillespie will now receive $5,000 and appear in a Safe Auto advertising campaign.
