HAMILTON, OH (FOX19) - Emergency crews battled an early morning fire at a vacant home in Hamilton.
It was reported in the 600 block of Butler Street on Hamilton's East Side around 4 a.m. First arriving crews found smoke and flames coming from a second floor bedroom window. With the help of four engines, firefighters were able to contain the flames to the one bedroom.
Authorities said no one was inside the building at the time, and no injuries were reported. Fire companies remained on scene for more than an hour in the frigid temperatures.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
