The Cincinnati Reds have signed RHP pitchers Sam Lecure and AlfredoSimon, avoiding arbitration for both.
Lecure agreed to a two-year deal, earning $3.05 millionthrough 2015.
According to FOX Sports.com, the 32-year-old Simon will earn$1.5 million.
The signings come just one day after the Reds and ChrisHeisey agreed to a $1.76 million, one-year contract.
Three pitchers – Homer Bailey,Aroldis Chapman and Mike Leake – are the only Reds players left forarbitration.
