Temperatures may be freezing outside, but spring is in full bloom at the Krohn Conservatory.
Visitors can take a break from winter and see the Avant Garden Spring Floral Show full of exotic plants, fragrant shrubs, and bright annuals. Plants you wouldn't even see in a typical spring garden, such as blue delphiniums, will be on display until March 30.
Krohn representatives say that recycled materials are used in the Avant Garden Spring Show. Baskets that were previously utilized to grow tomatoes have been transformed in to moss-covered chandeliers and paint cans have been re-purposed in to flower pots.
The show is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday. Click here for ticket information.
