A West Chester man accused of trying to kidnap a 12-year-old girl has made a plea deal.
Timothy Dick was scheduled to go to trial today for attempted kidnapping. However, Monday he pleaded guilty to a lesser charge. The new charge carries a one to five year prison sentence instead of two to eight years.
The attempted kidnapping in June was foiled by the girl's father who was fishing nearby.
