TIPS: How to pretend that you care about football

Super Bowl parties are fun, social events. But what if you actually could care less about football? Mashable gathered some genius tips from comedians on how to PRETEND that you like it.

"Just yell 'OH COME ON' a lot at the TV screen, even during the commercials." -@astamate

"When watching a game on TV with friends, choose a generic observation about football (i.e. 'the NFL has really gotten violent') and loudly mention it 175 times." -@JohnAPurcell

"When a team scores, its customary to cheer and hug each other. The length of hug (in minutes) is equal to how many points were scored." -@joeavella

Good luck!
