CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Greater Cincinnati area residents and Kentucky Gov. Steve Beshear are among the special guests at President Barack Obama's State of the Union speech tonight at the U.S. Capitol.

The White House said Beshear, a Democrat, will be among those sitting in first lady Michelle Obama's box.

"In his second term, the governor extended access to affordable health care coverage to hundreds of thousands of Kentuckians by expanding Medicaid and setting up a new health insurance marketplace, 'Kynect,'" the White House said.

The office of House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, said his guests "will include employers in his district who say the president's health care law is making it harder for them to hire."

Laura Doerger-Roberts, president of Vinylmax Windows; Scott Ellsworth, president of Tipco Punch Co., and David Lippert, president of Hamilton Caster & Manufacturing Co. are among the speaker's guests. The three companies are in Hamilton.

The speech is at 9 p.m. You can watch it and the Republican response on FOX19.
