These are utterly addicting! Serve them with pretzel sticks for skewering or turn them in to cocktail size meatball sliders.
What you'll need:
- 1-2 pounds frozen, pre-cooked cocktail meatballs
- 1 cup robust molasses
- 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon ancho chili powder
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 cup water
- Small pretzel sticks for skewering
In a large heavy pot, combine everything but the meatballs; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low. Add the meatballs and simmer until heated through, stirring occasionally.
Insert a pretzel stick into each meatball for serving, if desired.
