PHOENIX (CBS5) -

Remember the cute tigers found last December being kept illegally in two backyards in the Valley?

Thursday, CBS 5 News received copies of documents that detail how Arizona Game and Fish officers were tipped off to the tigers.

There are also new pictures of the day they were seized. One of the photos shows the crate one tiger was in. It's in a horse barn in Gilbert. Another picture showed a chain used to tether one of the tigers.

The pictures are contained in a Game and Fish report. CBS 5 News discovered the suspect owner may not have illegally brought just the tigers into the state, but that wildlife investigators also seized a juvenile monkey.

Arizona Game and Fish was tipped off through its "Operation Game Thief" hotline. Tipsters said they were contacted by a man who posted pictures on Facebook and Instagram of the animals.

Once officers found the tigers at a west Phoenix home and the Gilbert residence, the documents say the suspected owner told investigators he got the animals from a breeder in Wisconsin. When he was asked to provide documentation of lawful ownership, the documents say the suspected owner presented a veterinary certification out of Texas.

Investigators say once they are able to locate the owner, that person will not only be charged for the possession of the tigers, but also the public display of the monkey.

CBS 5 News talked to the owners of the Out of Africa park, where the tigers are living. The tigers are slimming down and they show no ill effects of being kept in pens.
