Anderson Township Key Bank robbed, police seek suspect

ANDERSON TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) -

Hamilton County Sheriffs are searching for a suspect following an bank robbery in Anderson Township.

The robbery happened around 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday at Key Bank, located in the 8600 block of Beechmont Avenue.

Authorities say that the suspect entered the bank and handed the teller a note. The note stated that the suspect was armed with a weapon and demanded cash from the bank teller.

The suspect fled the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of currency. No injuries were reported.

Officers and a Sharonville K9 unit tracked the suspect eastbound. Police say the suspect was not located.

Officers have described the suspect as a white male in his late 30s or early 40s. Police say he was approximately six-feet tall and weighed around 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a dark Nike jacket, white shirt, blue jeans and a light colored baseball cap.
