While you were sleeping, the Internet never stopped. And it's amazing what the Internet comes up with.

Check out what people are tweeting, sharing and talking about.

Journalists live-tweet their (really) bad Sochi hotel experiences

The opening ceremonies for the Winter Olympics 2014 begin Friday in Sochi, Russia. Reporters from around the world have been checking into their hotels preparing to cover the big event, and some have been describing some rather less than comfortable conditions. Yikes!

This includes the rooms, which were booked months in advance, not ready as well as undrinkable water and stray dogs roaming around the hotels.

CNN's Harry Reekie tweeted, "@HarryCNN: CNN booked 11 rooms in one @Sochi2014 media hotel five months ago. We have been here for a day and only one room is available. "

Stacy St. Clair with the Chicago Tribune said, "@StacyStClair: My hotel has no water. If restored, the front desk says, "do not use on your face because it contains something very dangerous." "

Katie Bakes of Grantland tweeted, "@katiebakes: Made new pal from La Presse as we struggled to find hotel. When we got to our (temporary) rooms his doorknob came off in hand "

'Biggest Loser' sparks concern over 105-pound winner

Rachel Frederickson weighed 260 pounds when she began ‘The Biggest Loser' competition, but showed off a new 105-pound frame during Tuesday night's finale. She lost 155 pounds and 60% of her body weight during about four and a half months on the show. At 5 foot, 5 inches and 105 pounds, that puts her BMI at 17.5 -- underweight, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Her weight loss has sparked a lot of criticism from viewers.

"I am extremely proud of the way I lost the weight on the show," Frederickson, a voiceover artist in Los Angeles, said Wednesday to the NY Daily News. "I followed the advice and the support of the medical team on ‘The Biggest Loser."

Realistic sculpture of nearly naked man freaks Wellesley College out

An on-campus statue of a "nearly naked man" wearing nothing but his underwear has caused a stir at the all-women Wellesley College in Massachusetts. He looks like he's sleepwalking. But he also looks very real. "The sleepwalker" is part of a Wellesley art gallery show by the sculptor Tony Matelli and was placed on campus by the college's Davis Museum staff.

More than 250 people have signed a petition to remove the statue, saying it has "become a source of apprehension, fear, and triggering thoughts regarding sexual assault for many members of our campus community."
