AVONDALE, OH (FOX19) -

Miss America 2014 Nina Davuluri is appearing at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center Friday afternoon.

From 1:15-3:15 p.m., Davuluri will visit with outpatient families, interview at the Ryan Seacrest Media Broadcast Center and flip pancakes with children while she is at the hospital.

Davuluri is flipping pancakes for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals as a spokeswoman for IHOP's ninth annual National Pancake Day on March 4.

Friday morning until 11:30 a.m., she is appearing at an IHOP restaurant, 9540 Colerain Ave., Colerain Township, to flip pancakes and serve them to guests.

Here are some cool facts from National Pancake Day last year:

*Pancake lovers donated nearly $3 million to children's charities and other local causes.
*IHOP served nearly 4.5 million free pancakes on National Pancake Day 2013.
*All of the free pancakes served on National Pancake Day 2013 would have created a stack about 13 miles high.
*Since the inception of National Pancake Day in 2006, IHOP has raised nearly $13 million to support charities in the communities in which it operates.

On National Pancake Day this year, IHOP restaurants nationwide will offer each guest a free short stack of buttermilk pancakes in an effort to raise awareness and funds for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals and other local causes. The goal is to raise $3 million.
