EVANSTON, OH (FOX19) - Police are investigating an attempted shooting that occurred Saturday evening in Evanston.
According to authorities, a woman driving a Toyota Camry on Dana Avenue was shot at multiple times by suspects in another vehicle. A toddler was in the car during the incident.
The woman attempted to flee the shooters by squeezing between cars at the intersection of Dana Avenue and Montgomery road, side swiping four vehicles in the process.
The back of the car has multiple bullet holes but no one was injured in the incident.
Police believe the woman was mistaken for another person who the suspect was intending to harm.
