A historic covered bridge in Stonelick Township collapsed on Tuesday afternoon.
The bridge, located on Stonelick-Williams Corner Road, collapsed around 2:30 p.m. Authorities say that the incident happened as crews were working to rehabilitate the bridge.
The cause of the collapse remains under investigation. No injuries were reported and the bridge remains closed.
The Clermont County Engineer, Pat Manger, will be meeting with the contractor to assess the situation and determine next steps. FOX19 will update the story as details become available.
