Scott Peterson undergoes mock cross examination

A former prosecutor who has sat in on Scott Peterson's murder trial says he has put Peterson through a mock cross examination.

Attorney Michael Cardoza says Peterson's attorney asked him to do so. Cardoza says customarily, defense attorneys take the action in a murder case to see how their clients do when asked questions. Cardoza, who has sat in on Peterson's trial as a legal analyst, says he took no money for the work. He says he did it as a favor to Peterson's attorney, Mark Geragos. The judge in the murder trial put Cardoza under a gag order Wednesday after learning that the lawyer had coached the defendant.
