Police search for suspect after body found at Monroe hotel

MONROE, OH (FOX19) -

Monroe Police are searching for a 39-year-old Middletown man who is charged with abuse of a corpse and tampering with evidence in connection with a dead body found Tuesday morning at a hotel.

Warrants have been signed for Shawn Lattimore and additional charges are expected, police said.

At approximately 7:50 a.m. Tuesday, police responded to the Monroe Inn at 40 New Garver Road for a report of female down in the parking lot. The woman could not be identified during the preliminary investigation.

Authorities later identified the woman as Christina Wyatt, 26, of Middletown.

The Butler County Coroner's Office has not determined a cause of death.
