Train derailed in Latonia, two people taken to hospital

Police responded to reports of a derailed train on Saturday in Latonia, Ky.

A single locomotive overturned just before 3 p.m. and sent two workers to the hospital. Their injuries are reportedly not life-threatening. 

CSX, the railroad company operating the train, is investigating the incident. Covington Battalion Chief Seth Poston said crews will be working overnight to move the train upright. 

Chief Poston also said that this section of the railroad is CSX's North-South Corridor, and the corridor will be closed until the accident is resolved.
