School shooting victim's dad dies on anniversary

CHARDON, Ohio (AP) - The father of one of three teens killed in a 2012 school shooting in Ohio has been found dead on the second anniversary of his son's death.

A sheriff's office in northeast Ohio says a family member found 48-year-old Russell King Sr. dead at his home by Thursday morning. The cause of death has not been determined. A Geauga (jee-AW'-guh) County sheriff's lieutenant says foul play is not suspected.

King's 17-year-old son, Russell King Jr., was one of three students killed in the February 2012 shooting at Chardon High School east of Cleveland. Three other students were wounded in the shooting inside the school's cafeteria.

Nineteen-year-old T.J. Lane pleaded guilty to the shooting rampage and is serving three life sentences.
