Study: Blue Ash ranked third best place to live in Ohio

BLUE ASH, OH (FOX19) -

The City of Blue Ash was recently ranked as the third best community in the state of Ohio.

Movoto.com, an online real estate website founded in 2005, released the ranking of the top 10 communities in Ohio. Movoto compiled its list by first turning to the U.S. Census Bureau for places in the state with populations more than 10,000. Out of 173 communities, Blue Ash qualified for a spot in the top five.

Other criteria considered in the ranking were total amenities, quality of life (cost of living, median home price, median rent, median household income, and student-to-teacher ratio), total crimes, tax rates (sales tax and income tax), unemployment, commute time and weather (temperature and air quality).

Blue Ash placed third primarily based on its amenities and economy. Home to over 2,300 businesses, Blue Ash is the second largest business in the Cincinnati region.

"We are ecstatic that Blue Ash has ranked as a top community in Ohio," shared Mayor Lee Czerwonka. "Blue Ash offers many first-class community amenities, such as the newly renovated Recreation Center, the Blue Ash Golf Course, the Cooper Creek Event Center, and Summit Park. Council has worked closely with City administration for the past few decades to provide the ideal corporate landscape for businesses, along with a comfortable and safe community for its residents. We look forward to maintaining these amenities in the future."
