One man is dead following a standoff at a Loveland residence.
Authorities were called to the 6600 block of Branch Hill-Guinea Pike on Monday afternoon. Officers say that they received reports of shots fired inside the home.
"Dispatch received a call that shots were fired in the residence," says Detective Robert Bradford. "It was determined that there was only one person who was firing the rounds when we arrived."
Police say at this time, they contacted the Clermont County Special Response Team.
Officers say that one man was found dead inside the residence following the situation. Police clarify that it was not an officer-involved shooting.
Authorities are releasing little information at this time. FOX19 will continue to update the story as details become available.
