Between brews, wines and fish fries, there's certainly a lot to taste, see and experience this weekend around Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. Not to mention, the forecast looks great with highs in the 50s.

Friday Fish Fry

Cincinnati International Wine Festival

Sip more than 700 wines from over 100 wineries, in addition to live music, food and a silent auction at the Grand Tastings main event inside Duke Energy Convention Center. Bid on rare wines, wine cellar tours and trips during a charity auction. There's also a luncheon (with wine of course) at the Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza Hall of Mirrors.

Details: Grand Tastings is Friday & Saturday with afternoon and evening times. $75 at the door. Auction begins Saturday at 9:30 a.m. with luncheon immediately following. Tickets are $125. www.winefestival.com.

Bockfest

Relish in Cincinnati's brewing past and present with a weekend filled with parades, parties, food and beer throughout downtown and Over-the-Rhine. Bockfest Hall will remain open throughout the weekend with live music, food and brewery tours. The Bockfest 5K will take off Saturday morning, and there's a free shuttle continuously running between participating venues.

Cocktail Hour: Music of the Mad Men Era

Enjoy an evening of Mad Men style and swagger by the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra. The Pops are performing a modern tribute to music of the '60s, including music by Frank Sinatra, Sam Cooke, Bobby Darin and Burt Bacharach.

Details: Saturday at 8 p.m. Sunday at 2 p.m. Music Hall, 1241 Elm St., Over-the-Rhine. www.cincinnatisymphony.org.

Wicked: The Untold Story of the Witches of Oz

Long before Dorothy found herself in Munchkinland, two girls met in the land of Oz. One, born with emerald green skin, is smart, fiery and misunderstood. The other is beautiful, ambitious and very popular. A musical that has become a "cultural phenomenon," Wicked is from the witches perspective in the Land of Oz.

Cincinnati Home and Garden Show

Looking to revamp your home or yard? The Cincinnati Home and Garden Show continues from last weekend with full-scale vignettes of landscapes with paved walkways, patios, flowers, shrubbery, water features, gazebos, hot tubs, garden walls and more.

Cincinnati Roller Girls Home Opener

The Cincinnati Rollergirls open their 2014 home season against the Brandywine Roller Girls (Downingtown, PA) in a double-header. Parking is free, tailgating is encouraged and beer is $1 during happy hour.

4000 Miles

Named "Best Play of the Season" by Time Magazine, it's your last chance to see Amy Herzog's "4000 Miles" at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park. The synopsis: "Leo's cross-country bike trip is just the beginning of his journey when he finds himself the unlikely roommate of his 91-year-old grandmother in this heartwarming play."
