(FOX19) - It's National MS Awareness Week and we'll have a special guest in the studio at 10:25 a.m. this morning to discuss the events happening around the Tri-State!
MS Awareness Week 2014 is March 3 - 9 and people everywhere are creating connections stronger than the ones MS destroys.
During this special week, the National MS Society encourages everyone to take action to help others learn more about MS and what they can do to make a difference.
Supporters can buy a National MS Society Bow Tie. The colors of MS are silver and orange with dots representing the myelin sheath. Buy your own for $57 and all proceeds go to the National MS Society.
Southern Lanes Sports Center is holding a volleyball event on Saturday to support MS. The event will take place at the sports center on Alexandria Pike at 4:30 p.m. Register HERE.
Stumps Lanes on Bridgetown Road is holding a bowling fundraiser for MS. The event runs from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. and a $20 donation includes bowling, shoes, and a T-shirt.
The Glenway Avenue Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt is holding a fundraiser on Monday from 12p.m. to 10 p.m. Print out the flyer and take it to the Glenway Orange Leaf and 10% of your purchase is given to the National MS Society.
Clark County Fairgrounds is holding a quarter raffle to benefit Women 4 Charity. The raffle lasts from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Champions Center.
BD's Mongolian Girl is holding a fundraiser night at their Beavercreek location on March 12. A $25 tickets gets you a bowl of stir fry, soup, salad, and a drink. $10 of the ticket benefits the National MS Society Ohio Valley Chapter. This event runs from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
