Auto parts manufacturer plans $50M facility in Monroe

By Dan Parrott

MONROE, OH (FOX19) - UGN Inc., a leading manufacturer of automotive parts, is planning to build a $50 million facility in Monroe. The factory will create 150 new jobs to the Cincinnati area.

The facility is the result of work done by The Cincinnati USA Partnership, the City of Monroe and JobsOhio.

This is just the most recent sign of potential for economic development.

"Just this week, our region was selected by Site Selection Magazine as sixth-best in the U.S. for economic development," says Matt Davis, Interim Executive director of the Cincinnati USA Partnership.

The Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber is the nation's fifth largest chamber, representing the interests of nearly 5,000 member businesses and is celebrating its 175th anniversary.
