Talk show host opposes invasion of Iraq
Trash talk show host Jerry Springer told Miami University students in Oxford last night that the debate over the Iraq war is more important than politics. He told an audience of about 200 it's about their country and its survival. Springer -- who considered running for the US Senate this year and may become a candidate for statewide office in the future -- says he wouldn't have invaded Iraq, even if there were weapons of mass destruction. He argued that during the Cold War the United States never went to war with the Soviet Union, which possessed nuclear weapons.
