Two people were killed on Sunday in an early morning Wyoming,
Ohio house fire.
Crews were called to the home of married couple Hank and
Janet Drescher in the 400 block of Hidden Valley Lane around 4 a.m. The home
was already in flames upon arrival and 15 additional departments had to be
called for backup.
Crews rescued the couple from the burning home and they were
transferred to area hospitals where they were pronounced dead.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
Hank Drescher was a retired police officer. His son is a
retired firefighter and grandson currently works for Cincinnati Fire
Neighbors told FOX19 that the couple, both in their 80s,
were great people who always kept an eye out for the neighborhood.
