Latest Hollywood dirt: Justin Bieber in court, Kesha out of rehab

(FOX19) - The latest Hollywood news you need to start your day:

Justin Bieber is due in court today for his assault charge in Toronto but sources say he may not be there.

Bieber surrendered to police at the end of January. The singer faces a charge of assaulting a limo drive in December.

The limo driver says he was driving a group of six people from a nightclub to a hotel when someone hit the driver several times on the back of the head.

Bieber's hearing was scheduled for 11:00 a.m. this morning but it's not guaranteed he will show up. His lawyer could appear on his behalf.

Speaking of Bieber, his ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez made her way back on stage. The 21-year-old pop star performed at the 2014 BorderFest concert in Texas this weekend. Sources say it was her biggest show since her stint in rehab earlier this year.

In other news, Robin Thicke is making big strides to win back his wife. According to TMZ, Paula Patton is open to giving him another chance. Sources says the two have never stopped communicating despite her making it very clear that she wants a divorce.

Charlie Sheen is apparently causing problems on the set of Anger Management. It's been reported that he hasn't been showing up for work. Sheen's publicist denies the allegation saying a sick cast member caused the delays and Sheen is looking forward to returning to work this morning.

Kesha is out of rehab and making some changes. The singer removed the famous dollar sign from her name and changed her twitter handle from "Kesha Suxx" to "Kesha Rose." She was recently in a rehab program for an eating disorder.

300: Rise of an Empire hit the silver screen this weekend with positive reviews.  The movie came in at number one at the box office with just over $45 million.

Coming in at number two was the animated flick, Mr. Peabody & Sherman. Taking number three was Non-Stop starring Liam Neeson.
