AKRON, OH (WOIO) -

The LeBron James Family Foundation will fulfill the final component of LeBron James' commitment to his high school, St. Vincent - St. Mary in Akron, by debuting the brand new Nike spring sports uniforms.

STVM's baseball, softball, and men's tennis teams will receive the fitted uniforms during a movie night at a local cinema including a special screening of the inspirational movie "The Blind Side."

In all, LeBron and his Foundation donated more than $200,000 in team uniforms and coaches shirts to fulfill James' promise.

"I'm excited to be in a position to help my alma mater become one of the best-dressed high schools in the country," said James, STVM class of 2003. "I've always said that when you look good, you feel good. When you feel good, you play great and that's what Irish pride is all about."

At a school assembly in 2012, James promised STVM that he would outfit every athletic team with new Nike uniforms.

In August, James kicked off the commitment with a memorable fall sports fashion show, personally debuting the football uniform. The campaign continued in November with an intimate winter sports uniform unveiling.

This spring sports event signals the final uniform unveiling and the fulfillment of James' promise.

"When LeBron makes a promise, he keeps it, and this was a big one that we were absolutely committed to helping him execute," said Michele Campbell, Executive Director of the LeBron James Family Foundation. "STVM will always be special to LeBron, and he takes great pride in being able to give back to the community that has given so much to him."

The custom Nike sports uniforms, executed in partnership with BSN SPORTS, are the latest installment of LeBron's promise kept to the school, which also includes a $1 million dollar gym renovation that opened its doors this past December.

"No matter where he goes or what he accomplishes, LeBron never forgets where he came from," said Patty Burdon of St. Vincent - St. Mary. "He has done so much for our school, and he just keeps on giving. We could never thank him enough for everything he's done."
