Fairfield bank robbed

FAIRFIELD, OH (FOX19) -

Fairfield Police are investigating a bank robbery late Monday morning.

Police said at 11:45 a.m. a suspect entered the First Financial Bank at 6060 S. Gilmore Road and demanded money from a teller who complied. The suspect didn't display a weapon but told the teller that he had a gun. 

The suspect fled on foot. He's described as a white male and approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall.

He wore a dark gray hooded zip up sweatshirt, a black baseball cap, a white ski mask, sunglasses and blue athletic pants with white stripes down the sides.

No one was injured during the robbery.
