Police: Pair wanted for stealing $6.5K in phones from Aurora Walmart

AURORA, IN (FOX19) -

Thanks to the public's help, police say they were able to identify two suspects believed to be involved in the theft of several iPhones valued at $6,500 from the Aurora, Ind. Walmart Superstore.

Christopher Little, 41, and Shawn Little, 20, have been identified by police as the suspects involved. Officers say that there are two active arrest warrants for the individuals.

Authorities say the men entered the Walmart on February 13 around 2:45 p.m. and approached the connection center. Police say as the electronic associate became occupied with a customer, one suspect crouched down to find an unlocked case. Officers say that the second suspect shielded the first suspect from view as the suspect snatched several phones from the case.

Authorities say the suspects concealed the phones in their jackets and left the store. Officers say the pair left the store with $6,500 worth of merchandise.

Police are currently searching for the suspects. Anyone with information on the suspects' whereabouts is asked to contact Aurora Police at 812-926-1101.
