The Bengals announced Tuesday that the team has resigned wide receiver and kick returner Brandon Tate.
Tate was set to become an unrestricted free agent at 4 p.m. Tuesday.
Tate is in his fourth season with the Bengals and sixth in the NFL. He has played in
every regular season and postseason game since becoming a Bengal.
The Bengals said he's made his mark with the team mostly as a kick returner. He has the franchise career record for average yardage on kickoff returns at 24.8 yards.
