Bearcats to hold selection show viewing Sunday at Fifth Third Arena


The University of Cincinnati men's basketball team is headed to the NCAA Tournament and wants fans to be present as the team learns seeding, opponent and location for next week.

UC head coach Mick Cronin and the team will be watching the NCAA Tournament Selection Show inside Fifth Third Arena on Sunday, March 16 and are asking fans to make plans to join in the celebration.

"Our team is excited to have the opportunity to represent our great city and institution at the NCAA Tournament," Cronin said. "Our fans gave us great energy inside Fifth Third Arena this season so we are thrilled to be able to share this moment with our sixth man."

Doors to Fifth Third Arena will open at 5:30 p.m. for the Selection Show Watch Party, with the Selection Show being aired live on the video board beginning at 6 p.m.

The regular season American Athletic Conference Championship trophy will be on hand for fans to take pictures with along with samples of the adidas postseason uniforms the Bearcats will be wearing throughout tournament action.

On campus parking is complimentary in the Corry Garage, located off of Jefferson Avenue and Corry Boulevard, for fans.
