BARBOUR CO., AL (WSFA) -

A Clio man is under arrest and charged with sexual intercourse and deviant sexual intercourse with a child as well as first degree rape and first degree sodomy. At least two other suspects are being sought.

Barbour County Sheriff LeRoy Upshaw says Eric Ryan Campbell, 22, was taken into custody Wednesday.

Campbell is accused of sexually abusing the child at the victim's home in south Barbour County.

The suspect was transported to theBarbour County Jail and is being held under a $250,000 bond.

Sheriff Upshaw says the victim was abused by a second person, whom investigators have already assigned warrants against. That person, not yet identified by police, may have left the state, but the sheriff says his office believes they have, "a pretty good idea where he is hiding."

A third person is being investigated, "and an arrest will beforthcoming once that investigation is completed," the sheriff's office said.

"We just want to make sure that the suspect ischarged with each time he touched the child," Upshaw explained.
